Occupational Medicine Technician


The Occupational Medicine Technician reports directly to the VP of Occupational Medicine to ensure that all prospective and current contracts are served compliantly and thoroughly both in clinic and on-site. In-clinic, and off-site travel, may be required based on contractual needs.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Staff hourly schedule 
  • Communicate with executives on current/prospective contracts and timelines of service
  • CAOHC Audiometric testing
  • Vision testing
  • Respiratory/Fit Testing Technician both Qualitative with automated equipment, and Quantitative with taste/smell procedures.
  • DOT/non-DOT Drug and alcohol testing
  • Various OSHA Physicals
  • Working with the Exam team for physicals, sample collections, blood draws, and more
  • COVID Swabbing
  • Medical Administration Compliance
  • Stay compliant with legal, regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Maintaining current on local trends and industry-specific issues

Competencies and Skills

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.

  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience:

Audio and respiratory testing knowledge.

*NIOSH, CAOHC, and BLS experience, or certification are a plus.

*Medical training or certification in Medical Assisting, Nursing, CNA, Phlebotomy, Paramedic, EMT, Military Medical, etc.

Required Education and Experience

1-3 years of Occupational Medicine Experience

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
