The PPD skin test is a method used to diagnose silent (latent) tuberculosis (TB) infection. PPD stands for purified protein derivative. TB Testing requires two visits.
Visit 1: The initial placement of the test
Visit 2: The test reading is completed 48-72 hours after the initial test

$35 Prescription Fee for Chest X-Ray
Written proof of a positive Tb test allows us to provide you with a chest X-Ray prescription to satisfy your organization’s Tb test requirement. At your visit, you will be required to provide proof of one of the following in order to receive a prescription for the chest x-ray:
- Proof of previous positive TB blood test
- Proof of previous positive TB skin test
- Previous TB chest x-ray result
