A Department of Transportation (DOT) physical is a health examination mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers.

A DOT exam is performed to determine if a driver is physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to operate a CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle). If you are a commercial driver, you are a “safety-sensitive” employee. For your safety and the public’s safety, FMCSA requires you to complete and pass a DOT physical to maintain a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).

DOT exam includes a required Urinalysis and Vision Exam.

Vaccines and Travel Consultation

Although traveling the world is exciting, making sure you are equipped with the necessary vaccines to remain safe while traveling is top priority. One Stop Wellness offers in person and Virtual travel consultations for large parties. Our 30-minute consultations not only educate you on how to avoid getting sick, we will also provide recommendations and requirements based on your itinerary. Our offices are also CDC -certified Yellow Fever vaccination centers. Should you decide to receive any preventative prescriptions, they can be written or called into the pharmacy following the consultation.

Renewals occur when a prescription has no refills left, or has expired, and the patient needs to continue taking the medication. In this case, our doctor will create a new prescription, referred to as a renewal, which may or may not have additional refills. (Controlled Substances and High Risk medications Not Included)
